Ima Cool Maid-- "Maizy"-- is a registered Appaloosa filly with ApHC Foundation Pedigree Designation (FPD.) She has superb Appaloosa bloodlines including many Hall of Fame and Champion ancestors.

She was bred and raised here from a 16.2 hand mother who is a producer of point earners, and a 15.2 hand sire who was a reserve World Champion, ROM earner, and sire of the same. Maizy is currently 15 hands as a two year old and looks to mature around 15.2 or 15.3.

Maizy ties, bathes, trailers, longes, and is good for the farrier and vet, has had her wolf teeth pulled, and has had regular trims and de-worming her whole life. She was recently shown at a local Appaloosa show and was well mannered and received compliments from spectators and other exhibitors.

She is good in the pasture with other horses, including foals, and she is easy to catch-- she is the first one to put her head in the halter, as she loves to be messed with. Maizy has never met a person she didn't like. She is affectionate and responsive and loves attention.

We don't break our two year olds early, but Maizy has had plenty of handling, knows basic cues, and should be a breeze to start under saddle when the time is right.

Maizy is a cute mover and should make a nice all-around horse. She is not spooky and is very kind. With her great mind, and with the proper training and time, she could make a darling youth or novice horse. Her pedigree is full of proven performers and with her athletic, correct conformation, she should perform as well.
